Strategic Planning at Bermuda College

Welcome to the Bermuda College Strategic Planning Hub, where you can follow our journey to develop the College’s Strategic Plan for 2025-2030. This plan sets the foundation for our future success, ensuring that Bermuda College remains at the forefront of innovation and excellence in higher education.

Why Strategic Planning Matters

As Bermuda College prepares for the future, this plan will help us shape a strong foundation centered on equity and student outcomes. Now, more than ever, it is essential to build an inclusive blueprint that supports all students and positions Bermuda College as a vital part of our island home, Bermuda.

Planning in Action

With the arrival of our new President, Dr David Sam, Bermuda College’s Strategic Planning Committee began the 2025-2030 planning process in Fall 2024. Initial feedback has been gathered through surveys with primary stakeholders, including students and employees, and we will soon offer focus groups to hear from various community segments.

How You Can Get Involved

We value input from our entire community. There are several ways to participate in the planning process:

  • Surveys: Share your ideas and priorities through anonymous surveys.
  • Focus Groups: Participate in focus groups designed for specific campus and community groups.

Timeline and Updates

Our planning timeline is as follows:

  • October – December 2024: Stakeholder consultations and feedback collection.
  • January – February 2025: Drafting the Strategic Plan.
  • March 2025: Finalizing the Strategic Plan
  • April – May 2025: Launch and implementation

All elements of the strategic plan will be reviewed and approved by the College Cabinet, Employees and the Board of Governors, ensuring alignment with Bermuda College’s vision and mission.
