Tuition & Finance

Fees are made up of tuition and lab fees (lab courses only). The total is based on the number of credits students register for. Most courses are 3 credits with some exceptions such as CSC and the science lab courses.

 

Admissions Deposit

Bermuda College has a $200 non-refundable admissions deposit. This deposit activates the registration process for students and will be applied to their first semester fees. The non-refundable deposit will apply to all new, reapplying, transfer and international students.

Tuition for Resident International Students

Lab Fees
  • Division of Business, Hospitality & Technology Education - $35
    (applies to lab courses in Electrical Wiring, Electronics Technology, HVAC, Masonry, Motor Vehicle Technology, Plumbing, Welding and Wood Technology)
  • Division of Business, Hospitality & Technology Education - $80
    (applies to courses in Culinary Arts)
  • Division of Arts & Science - $50
    (applies to Science lab courses in Biology, Chemistry, Earth and Environmental Science and Physics)
  • Nursing - $150
    (applies to Nursing lab courses)

 

Textbooks, and other instructional supplies and materials, are not included in College fees and may be purchased at the College Bookstore.


Miscellaneous Fees

Miscellaneous Fees are non-refundable.

  • Application for Admission to an Academic Programme $50.00
    ($100 for International Students)
  • Graduation Application Fee $90.00
  • Laptop rental $250 per semester
  • Late fees: 1 course $100; 2 courses $150; and 3+ courses $200
  • Student ID Replacement $10 (without access function), $15 (with access function)

Withdrawals & Refunds
  • FULL refund, minus the Admissions Deposit, prior to the first day of class for each semester.
  • PARTIAL TUITION REFUND of 30% on or before the financial penalty date.
  • NO REFUND after the tenth day of class for each semester.

Students are responsible for fees if courses are dropped after the financial penalty date.

NOTE: Non-attendance of class does not constitute an official withdrawal.

Dropping, Withdrawal & Refund Policy

Students are responsible for any fees incurred.  Dropping or withdrawing from a class(es) is not an automatic process.  It is the student's responsibility to officially drop the classes he/she is not attending or no longer wishes to be enrolled in.  Unwanted classes should be dropped as early as possible before the start of the term in order to receive a full refund and release seats for students on the waitlists.  The Drop and Withdrawal Form must be submitted to Student Enrolment Registration and Records (SERR) along with the Request for Refund Form

Payment Options:

  • Cheques should be made payable in Bermuda or US funds to Bermuda College.
  • Payment can be made by credit card at www.college.bm/payment 
  • Online payments can also be made through the local banks using the bill payment option. 
  • You can also pay in person at the Business Office on the second floor of College Centre.

Students who are in receipt of a scholarship or award are required to present a statement signed by a representative of the awarding body certifying responsibility for payment.

Payment Plans are also available.

 

Please Note: Student accounts that are in arrears for any reason, will be denied grade reports, transcripts, personal recommendations, permission to register for further courses and the right to graduate, until all accounts have been settled.
