Programme Overview

Bermuda College, in collaboration with the World Instructor Training Schools (W.I.T.S.) a leader in fitness training and certification in the U.S,. is delivering the Personal Fitness Trainer Level 2 Certification.

This programme consists of four essential components: a strong theoretical foundation taught through classroom lecture and discussion; hands-on practice during which students develop professional skills and techniques through observation and practice; an internship which provides additional practical experiences in a real world setting; and CPR/AED Certification which must be sought externally. This is a 10 week, intensive course ending with an internship in an approved local fitness centre.

Course Objectives

To provide students with the most current, foundation knowledge, training, and competency testing to certify them to practice as professional certified fitness trainers.

Personal Fitness Trainer - FIT 820

Bermuda College, in Collaboration with the World Instructor Training Schools (W.I.T.S.), a leader in fitness training and certification in the U.S., is delivering the Personal Fitness Trainer Certification. This programme consists of three essential components: a strong theoretical foundation taught through classroom lecture and discussion; a hands-on practicum where students develop professional skills and techniques through observation and practice; and an internship which provides additional practical experiences in a real-world setting.

Course Days: Tuesdays and Thursdays
Time: 6:00 - 8:00 pm
NOTE: Course fee does not include external examination fees and textbooks.
