In-House Awards

Bermuda College In-House Awards (IHA) acknowledge the academic achievement of students currently enrolled at the College. These awards represent partnerships with a variety of sponsors to recognise achievement across a variety of programmes facilitated by the academic divisions.

Application Deadlines

Bermuda College In-House Awards (IHA) were previously disbursed to support spring semester enrolment. As of the 2017/18 academic year, the awards will be granted at the end of the spring semester to support fall semester enrolment.

The application process opens in alignment with the early registration process for the fall semester. Generally, students can access the online application as of the first business day in April. The application process closes on the spring semester grades deadline. Late applications will not be processed.

Applicants are advised to register during the early registration period to ensure they meet the IHA enrolment criteria.

Applicant Criteria

Applicants must

(1) Be Bermudian

(2) Be enrolled in a programmed of study offered by one of the academic divisions

(3) Have achieved a GPA of 2.50 or higher in the spring semester

(4) Be enrolled in 12 or more credits for the upcoming fall semester

Selection Process

The applications are reviewed by committees within each academic division to support selection. When necessary, the Financial Aid Committee assists with the selection process for non-specific awards.
