Water Quality Control 2 Day Mini-Course

Bermuda's unique water catchment system requires close and regular monitoring of the quality of local water tanks. From water truckers, utility plant operators, building managers or just the average Joe Householder, the management of local drinking water is essential, affecting the lives of Bermudian residents like few other countries in the world.

Bermuda College is pleased to offer a 2-day mini-course on Drinking Water Quality Control.  This course takes a holistic approach and aims to raise awareness and understanding of the different facets of water quality control, and how they interplay among a broad spectrum of private, government and other sectors.

  • Environmental health
  • Water contamination prevention
  • Building practices/codes relating to roof design and rainwater harvesting
  • Water quality measurement
  • Drinking water treatment processes and procedures
  • An introduction to international water quality standards
  • Best practices in integrated water management, and
  • Introductory concepts of applied science
