Two Bermuda College Honorary Fellows – Ms. Martha Dismont and Mr. Gary Phillips will be the honoured guests of the Hamilton Princess and Beach Club for its annual Black History Month celebrations. The event, which includes a gala dinner, will also feature the honourees “speak about their experiences and share their motivations”, according to a Bernews article. Most notably, part of the proceeds from the event will be donated to the personal favourite charities of the two. For Ms. Dismont, the Family Centre was chosen; and for Mr. Phillips, the Bermuda College Foundation was selected.
