David Hunt is literally weeks away from being the first student in the Division of Applied Sciences & Technology to complete the requirements for the Associate Degree in Plumbing at Bermuda College. He was introduced to plumbing by his father, with whom he worked part-time. “I went to university, but it didn’t work out,” he said. “I came back home and got what I went out there for!” Mr. Hunt sat the internationally recognised City & Guilds examinations in June and is now considering further study in either civil or structural engineering. “I don’t know,” he laughed. “It all depends on how it gels with my plumbing career.”
